Regarding Amana SxS, model SBD21VE, mfg. P1315502W E, our water dispenser is not working properly. It works one day, then not the next -- or works one hour, then not he next. We are finding water frozen in the baskets on the inside of the freezer door. Please help with advice on repair and also the age of the refrigerator. Thank you. D.McCarthy

it sounds like there is something going on with your temperatures, behind the crisper drawers inside your refrigerator is a water reservoir. If this freezes it will stop the water from getting to the door. Next time it happens, use a hair dryer and thaw it out to confirm that this is the problem and it start the water flow again.

If it is, then set your refrigerator slightly warmer.
