The gas line to our home as cut and repaired. Ever since our weber gas grill has had problems. It seems like there is not enough pressure or there is something that is gumming the line. The burners do not light evenly or with any real heat. Any idea how to fix?
How is the flow of gas at the gas cock where your bbq line connects to the house? Take off the line and turn on the valve- flow should be good to the point that you can hear it flowing.
Let me go check.
ok
When I remove the coupling and turn on the gas I don't hear anything (but I don't think gas would flow when it is uncoupled). Even when the gas if flowing and I remove the coupling there is not "hiss" or any sense there is pressure.
You need to take off that coupling and check. Basically need to see where you are losing pressure. This should not be difficult at all to do if this is done in order that the gas should flow.
