Issue Intermittent contact in lid switch causing "Stops Mid-cycle", "Not Spinning", "Wet Clothes", "Poor

Draining" complaints.

Warranty Standard product manufacturing warranty applies.

Action There may be an intermittent contact inside the lid switch. When the contacts open, this indicates to

the machine that the lid is open and the washer turns ‘OFF'. When checked, the switch appears to

operate normally and ohms out correctly.

To identify this condition, turn ‘ON' the washer and set into agitation or spin. While washer is

running, wiggle the wire harness and connector attached to the lid switch. If the contacts are "bad",

the washer will shut ‘OFF'. If the washer shuts ‘OFF', replace the lid switch.

no children in the house//though i know it is not adviseable to direct connect the lid switch and control the washer thru the knob this will directly check if really the lid switch is the problem, isnt it?
