Hi ya meadowld,

You need to unplug the freezer.
Then remove the rear panel.
Let the compressor cool first or wear gloves not to burn your self on the hot compressor.
You will have to reach around and get in there with your hand the best you can..
Vinegar gets rid of the odors.
