I have a SHX45M05UC dishwasher. We have a tankless water heater and it takes several minutes for the hot water to reach the kitchen. Do I need to let the water run and get hot before starting the dishwasher or will it be heated by the dishwasher?Thank you for your help,XXXXX XXXXX
Make: BoschModel: SHX45M05UC
Even in my own home without the tankless heater I allow the water to run and get hot in the kitchen due to the fact that the heater in the dishwasher is limited in efficiency and capability and that the ideal water temp is 140 degrees F. The time of the wash cycle depends on water temp and you will use more energy getting to 140 and the extended wash time if you put cold water in the dishwasher. THANKS
