I have a double wall oven and one of them does not head up at all. I've only used this oven a couple of times. I can hear the blower so I'm "guessing" its the heating element. Could it be anything else? Also can I order the part here. Model # XXXXX Ser # XXXXXSam
Make: Double OvenModel: KEBC1KSS06 Already Tried: I have turned it off, then turned it on again. Nothing has helped.
You will need to remove the element, it should be held in with 2 scres into the wall of the oven, You will need to a multi meter to see if there is an open circuit in the element, usually it is visible , If it is then replace the element, otherwise the bake relay has failed and you will need to replace the control on the unit.
WARNING, if you use the OPT OUT button on the tool bar, this will bar me from answering back to you. once pressed I cannot answer anymore of your questions...Use this button with caution...
Where is the bake relay and is it easy to replace?
The bake relay is located behind the control panel, the model number you give does not come up correctly in my data base, This requires for the most part pulling out the oven about 3 inches to access the screws for the unit on most kitchenaid models. Not really hard to do however depending how the unit was installed into the wall can sometimes be a bear to move...
