hi my name is XXXXX XXXXX have a ge fridg modle 638feb8e side by side the broblem i have is when i try my ice or water at the door the comp. and condensor fan shuts off and a braker starts clicking i toopk the back off and the condensor fan is surging forward evertime the braker clicks if i spin the fan by hand to get it started the fan comes on and the compressor comes back on and the braker stops clicking if i try to use the water or ice the problem starts all over again what do you the problem mite be.

this is a common problem for these units unfortunately. Pull the unit foward and locate the back panel that's about 1/3 of the way up the back. The sheet metal panel is about 8" x 10" and behind this panel is a control board. You will need to replace the control board.
