GD5LHGXKT00 is the model of my Whirlpool side by side refrigerator; I have found a parts breakdown that indicates either my water dispenser switch is inoperative or the lever has broken.

How do you get the panel assembly removed from the door front without damaging anything?

Expert's Answer

Look at the bottom of the dispenser cover where it meets the metal pat of the door. You will see to openings to install a flat head screw driver. Then you can pry out on it.
