My 1999 year model GE SCA-2000 Advantium Microwave is dead. Display is dead and no buttons do anything. I have checked the power at the plug and have 240 Volts. The full model number is XXXXX 03 and the serial No. is TV906436K. Is there any internal fusing? Any ideas? Larry
Already Tried: You already got the above info
Yes, there is an internal fuse on this unit. Here is the part you will need. http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-SCA2000BWW+03-%3d%3di875392&PartID=875392 To access this part you have to pull the entire microwave down as it's located in the upper back right corner of the unit. You must take off the outer shell of the microwave to be able to see this fuse.

Your answer was completely off. I found this out only after I pulled the unit and removed its out case. The fuse is easily accessable form the front with the unit attached to the wall. You simple remove the top grill and there is a smaller grill held in by one screw. The fuse is just behind that grill. A five minute job versus the hour and half you put me though. I AM NOT PLEASED
it did fix the problem still and unfortunately the pictures are no always accurate when not at the house. This picture shows it as in the back right corner not the front right so I apologize but you did avoid a service call and it is fixed so That is always good.
