Make: LGModel: Tromm dle3777w Already Tried: all programs, cutiing power. cleaning lint tray. it says check filter when powering up...is this the lint tray or another filter i don't know about? thanks
Hi,Just to confirm, you're saying the unit runs but it wont get hot?
yes it was running fine. Sounds good all the controls/dials/lights options went well when firing it up. Only noticed the lack of heat when I pulled out damp/cpld clothes after it stopped. Thats when I went through all the fifferent programs while feeling the vent for heat.
OKThere are a number of things that can cause this condition in an electric dryer. Some require expertise but lets start with the most common problem. The unit will run fine but not heat if one breaker is off (requires two for heating element). Check the breakers for the dryer switching both off then on again. See if that fixes it.
yeah I had tried that. I only have 1 fuse. federal pioneerstablok 30amp double pole and it seems fine. maybe this should be 40 amp?
Dryers run on 30 amp. The rest of the checks are technical in nature. The electrical circuits must be checked for loose or broken wires, the element must be checked for continuity, the thermostat, thermal fuse, motor heat switch, timer and selector switch must each be checked in order.
