I have a Frigidaire Electric Wall Oven (new in 2003) on which two of the three screws in the lower door hinge (side swing door) are loose. However, when tightened, they continue to spin, indicating that something on the other side of the oven front that they go into, is not holding (nut or threaded hole?). I can easily take the door off, but don't see (easily) how to determine what the problem is on the "other side" of the front. Result is that the door doesn't swing quite level to open/close.
whats your model number please?
Model GLEB27S7AB
are you able to take 1 screw out?
Haven't tried (just tried to tighten), but probably can. It is at another house that we have moved out of and are selling - so I am not there right now. What do the lower hinge screws go into (to hold)?
it looks just like sheet metal screws there shouldnt be anything behind there you can possibly get a little bigger screws and put in there look at this diagram i sent you

So you are saying that the screws must have simply stripped the sheet metal hole (not threaded) and the only way to fix it really is to use larger screws that should bite into the sheet metal of the oven front?
yes thas what i was thinking
not unless you wanna purchase a new door assembly
