How to replace Ignitor in a Kenmore Gas dryer

Resolved Question:

How to replace Ignitor in a Kenmore Gas dryer

Once you access the burner assembly you turn off the gas, remove the screw holding the burner to the bottom of the dryer, remove the wires going to the burner and ignitor, remove the whole burner/ignitor and then replace the ignitor. BE CAREFUL, THE IGNITORS ARE VERY FRAGILE!!!!!! Also, be sure to draw a diagram of the wires!!!! Test the gas connection for leaks using soapy water on the fittings.

Go throught back or front

Sorry, the front! Does this dryer have the lint screen on top? Does it have a kick plate that is removable?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
kick plate that is removable, but it hard to remove
Expert:  RUSS replied 7 years ago.
You have to pry it off, that is how you access the burner!
