HiCustomer
Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer.
Is the fault indicater lite flashing?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
There is no fault indicator light flashing, but there is a red power indicator light and the pilot is not lit. There does seem to be a power noise as though it is on - but not in the way of any hot water being released.

OK,
Do you see the reset button? Press and hold for at least 5 seconds and see if that relights the pilot.

Sorry, really silly question - but where is the resent button? Do I need to unscrew any of the panels?
Expert:  built1950 replied 7 years ago.
Hi again,
It is immediately above the temperature control knob. The indicator light is next to it.

How long have you had your unit?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
approx 3 years - regularly serviced - yearly.

OK
Your pilot light can not be lit manually. It will be nesessary to diagnose the problem. The most likely culprit is the flame sensor. Can you handle this? You might consider a local tech to help with this.
