Sorry, web site having technical glitch.
Retest switches, they can fool you. Let me know .

The switches have continuity. With the wax motor removed, I can slide the mechanism to a position as if the door were closed and locked. I hold the door closed button in and push start. After a minute or so it begins to spin at full speed.
Expert:  built1950 replied 7 years ago.
Sounds like your problem is in the unit not sensing that the door is closed. Look carefully at that and let me know.

THE WAX MOTOR DOESN'T WORK! WITH ALL SWITCHES PUSHED IN AND WIRES DISCONNECTED FROM THE MOTOR, I GET 122 VOLTS WHEN I PUSH THE START BUTTON. CONNECT THE WIRES TO THE MOTOR, PUSH THE START BUTTON AND I GET 24 VOLTS.

You said you already bought a new wax motor so we know it's not that. The last time I had this problem I found a burnt diode on the control board that was interfering with the wax motor circuit. I replaced the board and that solved the problem. Did you try that yet?

Sorry, I clicked the wrong thing. Can I replace the diode, or do I have to get a new board?
Expert:  built1950 replied 7 years ago.
Diode replacement is not recomended. That will only damage the board further.
I beleive I've found the part at Appliancepartspros.com
