I have a GE Profile french door bottom freezer model #PFS22MIS8WW. I bought it 1.5 years ago and it just started to warm up to 62 degrees in the fridge and 24 in the freezer. Sometimes the didgetal tempeture lights are completly off or very dull. Right now they are lit bright but the temp dosn't respond even when I push tubocool button.
Make: GE profileModel: pfs22mis8ww Already Tried: I tried to drink warm beer
Hi Larry...Sounds like your control board is bad...#802...Thanks Bob
WHILE I WAS WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY MY FRIDGE STARTED CLICKING OR TICKING FROM A CURCUT BOARD LOCATED IN THE BACK UNDER AN 8X11 COVER PLATE . PART#801. DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE THIS MAIN CURCUT BOARD OR IS THAT NORMAL WHEN PART#802 GOES BAD (located in the front)
If the relay is clicking then yes it will be the board in back...The main board...
You can contact GE and tell them you have a bad main board...They will compensate you..As they know that this is a big problem with there units...
