I have a Frigidaire side by side Freezer / Refridgerator Model #FPZ-19VF . Water is leaking onto the floor from the inside bottom of the freezer section. The water builds up in the recess of the inside freezer and when that is frozen over, thje water runs onto the kitchen floor. I remember having this problem approx. 2 or 3 years ago. At that time I seam to remember the repair-man applying heat from a hair dryer to the louverd area at the bottom of the back wall of the freezer. I don't remember if he took out the louver panel or not, and I don' know where he applied the heat. Whatever he did it did solve the problem. Can you help me? Should I remove the louverer grille and to what I should apply the heat to.
the drain inside the freezer is stopped up and needs to be cleared ,,, remove the lower back panel inside the freezer and remove all the ice possable and then pour hot water into the troft under the coil until the drain hole opens and the water drains and if need be you can get a can of compressed air at even walmart and blow the drain hole open and pour more to flush it out and put back together and this will fix your problem / thanks Larry
I will accept at this point but if it doesn't work, how to I get back to you?
