Scotsman undercounter, makes ice very slowly, condensor is clean, good airflow, drain is operating, water is circulating, dial turned up.........what could be the problem?
are they smaller than normal and how long since you cleaned the evap plate the ice is made on
Some are full size, some smaller. Does not make very many of any size or shape. Have cleaned the coil behind the kick plate but never the evap plate.
thats the problem ,,, you need to get some nickel safe ice machine cleaner and run the icemaker though the clean cycle and clean the evap plate ,, the ice isn't sliding off to fall on the grid-cutter and then more ice builds up ,,, here is a link to order some or you can pick some up at a local appliance parts dealer and follow the instructions on the bottle and this will fix the icemaker / thanks Larryhttp://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?PartID=914880&Acc=1&PPStack=1
This style does not have a grid cutter. The cubes form individually upside down thru successive layers of build up.
that is what i also call a grid-cutter ,, sorry to sound stupid ,,,
