top mount. It's about 3 years old. there are temperature lights on a console in the fridge for both the freezer and the fridge, and there is a "dome light" in the fridge -- all of those are working, but the box itself is warm. We just returned from a 10 day vacation with some people in and out of the house, but the door was closed when we returned last night

you have a bad damper. this is the passage the air flows from freezer to fresh food area to keep food cold. it is stuck in the closed position. you will need the whole model number to replace the part needed.
