-Could you explain your situation a little more?

There is frost buildup on the rear of the fridge where the fan is the freezer seems fine the fan in the fridge is working the food on top shelf is freezing its only on setting 4but also does it when its on setting 2

when you say frost is built up on the back of the fridge do you mean in the freezer of fresh food side?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

its got the freezer on the bottom and its the fridge not the freezer so i guess the fresh food side

Ok check the door seals for a leak. This will allow the moisture from the outside air to enter into the frig and then freezer in the air passages. Also make sure a door wasnt left open. You need to unplug the unit to let the frost melt and get the unit cooling correctly.

what about using a hair dryer ? and if not how long should we unplug it?
Expert:  Appliance Man replied 7 years ago.
a hair dryer wont melt down into the air passages. I would leave it unplugged for 8 hours at least.
