I have an lg lsc27950st side by side and the outside display functions no longer light up or work. Can't change from ice to water, alarm or temp. Even the inside ice maker won't allow me to change ice cube sizes.
hi outtawater lol cool,lg is a refrigerator that has everybody wanting to pull the hairs out of their heads,i read your question and these lg side by sides have the same issue as the ge refrgerators, they have a main control board, that controls all the functions,on the unit, when certain relays go bad,it either wont dispense water or ice,or the fan will stop,in your case the display is out,if you can move the refrigerator from the wall you will see a panel halfway down with about eight screws on it.
No panel on back with eight screws. It's solid down to the bottom panel which is screwed in.
hi please write this down the part number is1360285 the price is 123.05 go to this site www.repairclinic.com enter your model number and it will show you the board i am referring to. this will fix your problem
Ok, now where do I replace that at since the back is solid down to the bottom. Would it be located inside the bottom panel? Does it just snapout/snapin?
give me a second please.
Top has a large access panel where electric cord goes in, 3 visible screws. Probably 14x14"
