Hello, I have a built in monogram refrig, ZIS360, with the temp. set for the freezer at -1 and the refrig set at 34 degrees. I woke up this am and found the freezer was -11 and the refrig was 44 degrees with the inside top of the refrig with water droplets hanging from it. HELP
i will need the complete model number please
where on the refrig will I find the number ? ths, Keith
it will be on the upper inside right hand wall or at the bottom under the door by the toe grill
zis360NRJ
ok thanks open the doors 1/3 of the way and release them and tell me if they shut all the way and are tight
the freezer door shuts tight, the refrig door closes and seals but a push really makes for a tight seal. the seals are OK and all items in front of the sensors have been moved away so....?
check inside the fridge and see if anything is setting close enough that it will keep the door from closing all the way
there are no items on the shelves nor on the door that are preventing the door from closing fully...Ths, Keith
has the temp started getting back to normal yet
the refrig is still 44 degrees and the freezer is -10 so no change although the family has been having breakfast and opening/closing the refrig....
is the fan inside the freezer blowing
how can i tell if the fan is blowing ? I hear the gurgling sound after closing the freezer door and the ice maker is working fine. i do hear a motor running with the top door open
open the freezer door and hold in on the light switch and you should hear it blowing and if no reach in to the back when the air comes in and you should feel it
the fan works as soon i shut the light off in the freezer
one more question ,,,, move the food around in the freezer and tell me if you see frost on the back wall
there is no real frost on the back wall, only a light coating when I touched it
you have one of two things that can be wrong with the fridge and i believe my first here is really the problem ,,, shut the doors and leave them shut for a few hours and the temp should start getting back to normal ,,, i believe the fridge door wasnt completely shut though the night and light frost build up and caused the problem your having ,,the other is the motherboard (main control) but i would do my first request before even thanking about replacing the mother board ,,,, thanks Larry
pls give me some idea of what constitutes a "few hours" and how much of a temp. drop in the refrig should i expect with it at 44 degrees now ?
leave the doors closed for alease 4 hours and then check the temp ,, i cant say how much drop you will have because that bepends on how much you have inside the box but you will see a drop
