My side by side Whirlpool ED5PHEXNL00 is no longer cooling or freezing.

All the cooling switches are set to mid point.
Contents of the freezer or refrigerator have not been added in the last 2 days
I cleaned the condenser coils about 8 hours ago.
The fan is running but the compressor doesn't seem to be kicking in.

What can I check next?

Remove back bottom cover, is the compressor warm or hot ? Is the fan next to the compressor running ? Do you hear the compressor clicking ?How old is the unit ?

The unit is 5 years old. I will need to go remove the back bottome cover.

If the fan is running the compressor should be running. I would replace the start device on the compressor, part #(NNN) NNN-NNNN If the compressor does not come on after part is installed you will want to check your purchase date. This unit should have a five year warranty on the compressor.
