I have a whirlpool fridge freezer, the freezer side is fine but the fridge side is not cool. I SEEM TO GET ICE BUILUP AROUND THE MEAT AND VEG CONTROL VENT. I HAVE TRID CLOSING THIS TO THE VEG SETTING BUT ITS STILL NOT COOL.. PLEASE ADVISE. THANKS MRS S SENIOR

thats why the fridge isnt cooling ,,, the fan in the freezer pushes the air from the freezer into the fridge ,, may i have the model number and i will dig up the part number for you / thanks
Hi Larry the only no can find is a sticker on the inside of the door that says service 858616015000 also 110448004141. Just to let you know I have pulled the fridge freezer away from the wall and the fan and air seem to be working, but we have had it in the same position for 4 years.

NO BUT THE FAN IS WORKING NOW AND SEEMS TO BE PULLING AIR IN THE GRIDS UNDER BITH THE FRIDGE AND THE FREEZER. I HAVE TURNED THE ICE MAKER OFF INCASE THIS WAS THE PROBLEM. THE ONLY PLATE WITH ANY INFO ON IS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF FRIDGE DOOR THE ONLY OTHER NO ON IT IS 110511017470.
when you moved it you freed it up ,, something was hung in the fan so dont worry about the model number ,, i would go ahead and pull it out and clean the coil while you have it moved ,, unplug it first and it believe it will cool back down now ,, if you need me just give a shout ,, i am about always on here since i'm now retired / thanks and have a grat day
