Have an Amana RCB30B2A Condenser unit. This unit is the same as my neighbor (Condo) but moves air from top down where the neighbors unit moves air from bottom up. Which is correct and could be affect cooling performance.

it should suck though the condensor coil and blow up out of the unit

Larry, appreciate the help and it sounds like the unit was installed (never have had service) incorrectly or the wrong fan motor was in the unit from the factory. I guess contacting the dealer will be the next step

should have responded when we found the answer (just got a reminder from justanswer) but as a FYI the problem was the Capacitor. Once replaced the fan spins the correct direction
