I have a GE Eterna Side by Side fridge. It is about 4 years old. We are having problems with water leaking into out lower level directly below it. We find wet floor, near the left back corner, but cannot find anything wet on the refrigerator. We are stumped. This unit has no tray underneath, so it isn't full. Any ideas where this water could be coming from and what to do about it.
Probably have ice forming on the large diameter refrigerant line. It melts when unit cycles off. Get some small tubing insulation or foam tape and insulate as much of the line as you can access.
I don't find any ice or condensation in the back of the unti. Any other suggestions, or could it be inside the back cover?
Yes, tubing is not visible on the back- it's by the compressor area.
