What is the make and model#.And what is the problem?

Customer replied 1022 days and 13 hours ago.

it's a Maytag Neptune only 4 1/2 years old. Model #FAV6800AWW. It makes a horrible noise (grinding) while in use. Not sure if it's during the wash or spin. Maytag says the main bearing is not in the 3-10 year warranty as is the drive motor and the transmission. I would think that they all need to work together and therefore all be under warranty.

The main bearing is in the centre of the back half of the outer tub.

Customer replied 1022 days and 13 hours ago.

I know where it is but are they all connected as a unit?
