Customer Question

Our Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator stopped working on both sides after the freezer door was left ajar over night. We can hear the motor running. The refrigerator is 6 years old. What could be the problem and how much do you estimate it could cost to fix it?

price to fix it is the $18 you are paying me haha ,,, the coil frosted up from the warm air getting inside while the door was left open ,, take everything out of the fridge and freezer and completely defrost it out ,,, be the best to unplug the unit and let it set with door open all day and then shut the doors and plug it up ,,, allow 24 hours for temp to get back yp normal ,,, quicker way is to take a hair dryer and melt out the back panel of the freeand then remove the inside back panel inside the freezer and finish defrosting it all out and it will start to get cold again ,,, in eather case you need to unplug it / thanks and have a good day / Larry
