my Maytag Jetclean Dishwasher EQ plus has the 3 sec light showing on . I cannot turn the diswasher on What is wrong
tell me what all the buttons say on the control panel from left to right please
3 sec, auto clean, drain/off, delay/resume, rinse only, light wash, Normal wash, heavy wash, tough scrub, sanitize, heated dry
lets try this first ,, push and hold delay/resume for 15 scronds
Ok Larry did that twice. the 3 sec light flashes for 6 secs and then goes back to solid on I also pressed the drain/off button for 15 sec same result
does this one have a child lock on it
No child lock.

Ok did all that, when I push another button the 3 sec button flashes and then resume a steady on
I guess I will just have to have it serviced.

try this TO CANCEL:1. Press the lock icon pad for three seconds.2. The indicator light will go off. in the manual on page 8 is a way to disable it and i'm sending you the manual / thankshttp://www.managemyhome.com/mmh/lis_pdf/OWNM/L0803250.pdf
I do NOT have a lock icon pad
the only other thing i found say to replace the control board ,,, part number is XXXXX and it cost $169.82 and you can get it at a local appliance parts dealer or online at www3.sears.comits #2 in this picture
