Customer Question

# XXXXX I own a Whirlpool Duet GHW9100 LWZ, which now stops in the middle of the rinse cycle and will not rinse and then beeps while coding F02. The water drains at a stream and then stops every 1 to 2 minutes. Then it may stop in the middle of a wash cycle and beep immediately and it will show the same code. I have taken the hose completely a loose, but to no avail and the problem persist. What should do?

# XXXXX The same appliance leaks in the center below the front door. What should I do?

There seems to be enough electric and these problems have begun within the last month and seemed to had disappeared. However, both problems are increasing. My appliance was purchased in 2004.

remove the lower front panel and unscrew the cap from the pump and clean the filter and reinstall ,, this should fix both problems / thanks Larry

"F/02"

Long Drain

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
  • Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
  • Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
  • If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.
