My Kenmore Coldspot Refirgerator, Mod.(NNN) NNN-NNNN Ser. EF(NNN) NNN-NNNN collects water and freezes in the lower compartment. I have set thermostat controls, as per instructions, but situation persists. Had Service Tech service the unit 4 Jan 2009. Worked fine for 6 months, now condition has returned. Woul like advice and a schmatic diagram of the refrigerator drain system. Thanks.

open the freezer door and remove the food, shelf and icemaker and then remove the two screws at the front of the bottom panel and pull it out ,, clear all ice possable and then the screws holding the inside back panel in and remove ,,, pour hot water into the troft under the coil till the drain hole and the water drains and the take a piece of cooper wire and wrap one end around the heating element and drop other end into the drain hole about 2 inches and put the freezer back together ,,, what this does is when it goes into defrost and the heater warms up so will the copper and it will keep the drain from freezing up and keep the drain open / thanks
