my maytag front loader dryer stopped working suddenly, the only thing that works is the inside light (when the door is open) i checked the fuse already .....

the model number is XXXXX i used the dryer 3 days ago and it was working fine and this morning when i wanted to turn it on the only button that worked was the 'cycle end signal/ lock unlock' button and then that also stopped working and now the only thing that works is the inside light. i checked my breakers and everything is in order....
Ok do you have a volt meter? So now none of the buttons work correct?

Ok can you get one? Also remove the little panel that covers the cord were it goes into the back of the unit are any of the wires burnt?
what does the volt meter check ?
p.s. my house is only a few years old do you think that the electricity is to strong?
It checks voltage.No i dont think so but we need to make sure the unit is getting two legs of 110 and one leg of 220v
My dryer started to work again suddenly. if anyone has such a problem, maybe give it some time................try your luck
