Hi Thanks for the question. I need the model # XXXXX I can look at the washer.
Speed Queen Commercial Heavy Duty model
I don't have a model number at this time, I'm at work. I will look for it when I get home. I'll send it from my home computer.
I'm not sure of the age, it came with the house. I'll be able to get more info after I get home. I will reply when I have the information.
This is probably your washer, if its leaking from the tank seals from right under the tank, its a big job
The model # XXXXX 392W
Serial # XXXXX 582B
I need to know if its repairable, an estimate of that cost if I hire a repairman to do the job,
and if I could fix it myself?
If it cost over $150 considering the age of the machine I will just buy a new machine.
My suggestion. Buy a new washer.
Buy ROPER by Whirlpool Its a nice cheap washer you can repair yourself
The cost of a new washer is not in question. I will pay for a quality product. I want something that will last and not need repair in 5 years!
My wife does 365 loads of laundry a year.....!
Does the ROPER have a great track record, or should I consider a differant machine?
