White-Westinghouse front load washer Model LT800LXD1. DC motor

Resolved Question:

White-Westinghouse front load washer Model LT800LXD1. DC motor stops running about every two years. Replaced brushes each time with the first two times being successful. This time the motor only turns several revolutions and stops each time it is supposed to run. What is the problem?

There is no waiting time. What do you mean by a "week winding:?
Expert:  stef replied 7 years ago.

Tah tis the motors internal wiring but if it starts right away again then the motor overload is not quicking out. the tub totally empty?

stef

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
The tub is empty and the drive belt is removed so there is no load on the motor.

Can you use a volt meter? if so see if the voltage is still present when the motor has cut out

Yes, can use a volt meter. Check voltage at brush leads?
Expert:  stef replied 7 years ago.

See if voltage is still coming in when motor cuts out that will rule out the motor if there is voltage the motor is bad if not then probably the sequenser
