This answer was rated:

Amana Refrigerator (M#BBI20TPSW) the refrigerator area is not getting cold. The freezer area is freezing - it does have some snowy in it though. I checked the vent in the refrigerator area and it is receiving air.
Is the frost built up on the back wall of the freezer?

No, I changed the Defrost Timer and the Defrost thermostat and it is stil frost on the roof of the freezer and on some of the food.
if its getting frost on the ceiling of the freezer and frost on your food then you need to replace the door seal ,,, it is sucking air somewhere around the door seal or it has a small rip in it someplace,,,, the part number is XXXXX and it cost $65.86 online at www3.sears.com or you should be able to get one at a local appliance parts dealer / thanks ... please accept for eather of us / thanks again / Larry
