Sounds like the base of the appliance has flooded.
Unplug the appliance and drag it out.
Tip it rearward about 45 degrees, water will run out of the rear corners so a couple of towels would be handy.
Once drained, try the machine again.
If it's still tripping the power, you'll need to leave the machine switched off and allow it to fully dry out.
Hopefully, once dried out it should work again.
