We have a two drawer disher Model DD605SS*T2 purchased in Oct

Resolved Question:

We have a two drawer disher Model DD605SS*T2 purchased in Oct 08. The top drawer last night was not working. No lights come on the indictor panel. The bottom drawer is woking as normal.
1. Can we continue to use the bottom drawer if the top one is not working.
2. What could be the problem

Yes, you can continue using the bottom drawer.

If there's nothing at all at the top drawer then it's likely the electronics in that drawer have failed.

As the appliance is still under warranty you have to get the manufacturer in to repair it.

I would say that having this appliance on an extended warranty of some sort, or insurance scheme as the electronics can be costly to replace.

Good luck with it.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply but;

Is this machine prone to this type of problem or any others for that matter?

Have I bought a doggy model

No it's not a dodgy model, just very expensive parts.

I like them , a lot of engineers don't like them as they are fiddly to work on.
