let see what we can find out.
First with freezer door closed ,open fresh food door and feel the air flow in upper rear left corner at Damper(where the air comes in ) while still feeling the air flow open freezer door to see if air flow gets more air out of damper when freezer door is open ,
look in the freezer section to see if you see any ice build up.
and in the freezer can you hear the freezer fan running
let me have your model number so that I may look at your particular refrigerators air flow
on the left rear corner in freshfood section is the damper lets take the plastic cover off that should be held in place with one or two screws.
If you can
ok now we are going to run a diagnostics routine to see if that damper is opening or not.
#1 you will press freezer up button and then power button holding both for approx three seconds.
# XXXXX should show like #1 and#1
#2 press freezer button again and hold till it beeps then you should see #2and #1
#3 press freezer up button again and hold should move to #3and freezer fan will come on
#4 press and hold freezer up button again till it beeps moving to #4 and compressor and condenser fan in rear will come on .
#5 press freezer up button again moved to #5 at this time we should be able to hear damper motor operate.
