Hi there, zer I have a problem with a sheet of frozenwater

Resolved Question:

Hi there,
zer
I have a problem with a sheet of frozenwater on the bottom of the freezer section (side by side
refrigerator), does this mean the fridge is on the way out?

deffinately not, it just means that your drain line has frozen over. Take everything out of your freezer and remove the lower back panel inside the freezer itself. Thaw all the ice out with a hair dryer. There is a drain pan that catches defrosted water and drains it into a tub below the refrigerator. Sometimes the pan will freezer over and not allow the water to fall down the tube.

Not sure what you mean by the lower back panel inside the freezer?

inside the freezer, the back wall. That is the part you have to remove to access the defrost drain pan.
