sorry had to step out for a bit, you need to replace the igniter in the oven. this happens all the time, they get weak and do light the burner and the reason it gets to 100 degrees is because it still glows hot but wont open the safety valve. this is the igniter , Part 1990its $70.00 dollars on this site though. you can get it for allot less if you check around on some of the parts sites online. as far as the function indicator its suppose to be on when its in bake, hope this helps, thanks Bryan
