I have a fan that has been controlled by a Hampton Bay remote

Customer Question

I have a fan that has been controlled by a Hampton Bay remote model # XXXXX for over 2 years. Today the remote would not turn it on nor would it turn the lights on. I have replaced the battery with a new one and still no luck. Is it possible that the receiver inside the fan has gone bad? If so, can I get a replacement receiver. The light on the remote comes on when we push the buttons, so I assume it is still working properly.

HiCustomer

It's more likely the remote has gone.
Home Depot is a Hampton Bay authorized distributer and should have replacement
remotes for you.
