just replaced motor on maytag washing machine model number

Resolved Question:

just replaced motor on maytag washing machine model number 6057ww. works fine now exept when in spin cycle, it gradually loses spin speed. it appears that the motor is ever so slightly slipping back which loosens belt tension thereby decreasing spin speed. is this a belt tension problem? if so, i can't figure out how to tighten belt. is there something wrong with the sliding plate the motor sits on?

can you get me the full model # XXXXX seems to be incomplete. you may need tension springs or it could be the spin bearing is bad. thanks Bryan

take a look at part # XXXXX on your washer from this diagram, click here, this is the motor spring, let me know if its weak or broken. thanks Bryan

i think i put the spring on wrong. corrected it but it still drifts albeit not as bad. i ordered a new spring. this one is probably wornout. its an older, well used machine. hopefully that corrects the problem. thank you for your help. i'll go ahead and click the green button.
