i have a knmore top mount refrigerator. Model # XXXXX There is alot of water, dripping from the inside top somewhere. There's puddles on the shelves and water in the bottom drawers and filling in the bottom every few days.
This is a very common issue. You will need to remove everything from your freezer and take out the back panel inside your freezer. Behind this panel there will be a drain pan made of aluminum or stainless steel. Use a hair dryer to thaw out all the ice that is clogging your drain hole in the drain pan. You can also poor hot water down the hole to help thaw quicker.

To make sure the problem doesn't come back, wrap a solid piece of copper wire around the heating element at the bottom of the silver coils. Then extend the wire into the drain hole about 2 inches so that the drain hole does not freezer over in the future.

Got all the ice out around drain hole. Still doesn't drain out completely. Can't possibly be any more ice - poured lots of hot water and soaking up with a towel. when i pour water hole fills - doesn't drain

OK. Thank you. Did all that. all ice is gone, but still doesn't seem to drain. If I put water in drain hole, it stays, doens't drain away.
appliance doctor is off line, do you have a piece of plastic hose like the one that runs up the back of the refrigerator to the ice maker? its just 1/4 " plastic tube but its stiff enough to push down the hole and clear the line the rest of the way through, i use this all the time to clear the drain line, you may have a piece of food down the drain. work the tube down the drain until the water runs freely down, if you dont have a piece of tubing Lowes or a hardware store sells this and its not expensive.you only need a piece about 3 feet long. hope this helps thanks Bryan

You can try to clear the hose with compressed air as well if you have any, that is how I clar the drains if they get clogged further down.
