My Fisher Paykel washer Mod. GWL11s/d keeps filling til it

Resolved Question:

My Fisher Paykel washer Mod. GWL11s/d keeps filling til it overflows. this only happens on the spin cycle. shutting it off and even unplugging it does no good. the only way to stop the filling is to shut the water off. then when I turn the water on and power it up it works normal till it gets to the spin cycle the next time I wash.

Does it only do it on the cold setting

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
When it is set to cold it always switches to warm by it self. i never tried hot.
Expert:  John replied 7 years ago.

The problem is with the cold watr valve.

Thats why you can only turn off the water by turning off the tap.

Replace the water valve

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
if it is the water valve wouldn't it do the same thing at the rinse and or wash cycle?
Expert:  John replied 7 years ago.

If its like you say It wont turn off even if its unplugged.

It has to be the water valve
