I have a Maytag washer, model MAT10PDAAL. It fills with water

Customer Question

I have a Maytag washer, model MAT10PDAAL. It fills with water to the brim, then stops. The washer won't advance to the wash cycle. The machine makes a slight buzzing sound. The lid switch is OK and water temperature selection is OK.

it does this with what ever water level selection that you press?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
I started the machine and pushed each fabric selection button. The water temperature changes normally when I press each button. My machine doesn't have any buttons to select water level.
