I have a Maytag Quiet series 300 that is not draining. I have hard water and have had a lot of scaling on the interior components. I want want to clean out the drain. I need to get directions for doing this

I will give it a try. What if that does not clear the blockage
Check the drain where it hooks up to the sink.
See if theres blockage
Try the d/w first on drain and check there
If no clog There you can take the bottom panel off and check the water pump
Then you can use this product
Access to the water pump is made through the interior of the unit or through the undercarriage?
No the bottom panel comes off
$ screws takes the panel off
Uou will see the pump
I just pulled the unit out of the cabinet and found that the drain line has a major kink in it. Looks to have been that way since it was installed three years ago. Would this have damaged the water pump over time?
No it should be ok once repaired.
Then use the magic you will see a huge difference in the wash
Is there a cycle that will just primarily run the pump?
yes you can Move the timer to a drain cycle or push cancel drain
Thank you. removing the kink allowed the pump to romove all of the water. I will replace the hose and use the Dishwasher magic to clean up the interior. Thanks again
