refrigerator freezer handle is loose. unscrewed seal, pulled

Resolved Question:

refrigerator freezer handle is loose. unscrewed seal, pulled back and exposed a larbe block of styraphoam with no exposed way to get at screws. any suggestions? I do not want to damage

do you have a model number for your refrigerator? I can do some research and see if there is a way to take the handle off from the front.

ok there is a set screw near the connection. Look at the handle and look near the bottom on the right side. There is a tiny little alen screw that you need to loosen up. There is one on both the upper and lower part of the handle. Loosen the set screw and pull the handle off. After that you can tighten the screw that goes into the door to make sure it's tightened all the way. Then take the handle and place it back onto the door and tighten the tiny little set screws again.
