My maytag neptune model # XXXXX doesnt do anything,

My maytag neptune model # XXXXX doesn't do anything, it's stuck at the spin cycle and when you try to run it, all you hear is a humming noise!

Remove the back panel and see if the pump is seized up .

Replace if neccessary

I did remove the back panel and it sounds like the noise is coming from what i'm guessing is the pump it has 2 hoses coming from it.

Yes thats the water pump.It could be just jammed up

You take the hoses off the pump.the pump and remove the pump

If you find that the pump is just jammed up .

Clear it and try it again If its burnt out replace it
