the fridge part of my gr-s552gta model fridge/freezer is not cooling. the freezer part is ok.

Open up the freezer dor and look at the back panel. Do you see any frost built up on the back panel. Aso do you hear a fan running in the freezer?

we defrosted the freezer, there was frost on the panel and the fan is running, still not cooling fridge part. We went through a heatwave after which it has struggled. last night it sounded like running water at the back of the panel.

You need to remove the back and melt the frost off the coils. If there wat frost on the back panel then the coild are surely frosted over.
