Can I get the model number?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
This is a soda vending machine. It was made by coinco (CT-45).
Expert:  Chas replied 7 years ago.
Why do you think the compressor is running backwards?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
won't get cold and the lines are full according to the guages uses r12
Expert:  Chas replied 7 years ago.
What are you low and hi side pressures?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Sorry can't give you those the guy who helped me took the guages.
Expert:  Chas replied 7 years ago.
With out know knowing the pressures it is impossible to tell you a lot, For the compressor to run backwards then the inside of the cooling area would be very hot and the discharge line at the compressor would be freezing cold, You may have only a block drier or a ineffecient compressor,
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
How can I reverse it? The interior is hot and there is no drier.
Expert:  Chas replied 7 years ago.
Is the interior much hotter than ambient temperature?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

yes

Expert:  Chas replied 7 years ago.
on the compressor you should have 2 lines, one is larger than the other, how hot is each line?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
both are about the same temperature.

Your compressor is not running backwards, you have a bad compressor, and it will need to be replaced...Sorry.
