I have a Maytag 3000 front load washer - and just had a F12 code - what does this mean ?

Is this a MAH300 washer?
Please give me the complete model number as show on the sticker inside the washer door jam.

The unit is brand new - three days old

Something is wrong. We do not find an F-12 error code in the maytag Mah3000 model or in the Maytag washers either. I was going nuts trying to find this . Then I realized it's a mistake! Or what counntry are you in??

waht's it doing wrong ? What is the peoblem, or does the washer work well anyway?I.can39856.6214224884

This is an MCU failure,,,try running this test and see if the motor turn, if not then the motor control unit will need to be replaced..

Execute this procedure with an empty drum. All of the steps

below must be done in sequence in order to reach the

Diagnostic test. This executes the automatic test only.

1. Close the door.
2. Push power.
3. Select the "Drain and Spin" program.
4. Deselect the rinse option (for Kenmore only).
5. Select "No spin".
6. Push Prewash option within 5 sec.
7. The automated test program is started ( not possible to

skip steps).

8. To cancel the test program, press the "Stop" button.
